Canada Work/Residence Visa

The following information and procedures apply for Canada Work/Residence Visa processing:

Visa Requirement

  1. Copy of Biodata page of International Passport
  2. Passport photo on white background -required only for kids
  3. Job Offer: A written offer from a Canadian employer.
    [LMIA/Exemption: Your employer might need a positive LMIA, or you might be exempt (e.g., under CUSMA, specific programs)]
  4. 6-Months bank statement with reference letter from the bank
  5. Job Requirements: Proof of education, experience, and skills matching the job.
  6. Financial Proof: Evidence you can support yourself and return home.
  7. Biometrics: Fingerprints and photo
  8. IRCC Fees: Payment for application processing. (online)
  9. Photos: Recent passport-sized photos.
  10. Other Documents: CV/Resume, police certificates, medical exams (if asked).
  11. Families ties if applicable
  12. Marriage certificate & birth certificate of kids

Worker Costs (IRCC Fees)

  • Work Permit Fee: CAD 155

  • Biometrics Fee: CAD 85

  • Work Permit holders fee: CAD 100
