Germany Tourist Visa Requirement (Schengen)

1. A completed application form in English or German only.
2. Two passport sized photos (45 mm x 35 mm) – must meet the Germany Schengen visa requirements.
3. An International passport (with minimum of 6 months validity & free page) and copies of previous visas.
4. Travel health insurance.
5. A cover letter detailing the reason for your visit to Germany and itinerary. (will provide template)
6. Flight Reservation specifying your entry and exit from Germany.
7. Hotel booking for the entire duration of your intended stay in Germany. If you are staying with friends/relatives, a copy of their ID and Passport as well as proof that they can support your stay is mandatory.
8. Proof of civil status (e.g. marriage certificate, birth certificate of children, death certificate of spouse).
9. Proof of sufficient funds for the duration of your stay (Bank statement of the last 6 months).
10. If you employed, a copy of your Employment Letter, Work ID as well as a letter which states that you are permitted by your employer to take the annual leave during that period are required.
    1. If self-employed, you have to hand in official documents confirming your own business (e.g. A copy of CAC, Tax Clearance including name and proof of business activities).
    2. For students: Proof of being enrolled in a tertiary educational institution as well as a formal letter from the designated authorities that gives you permission to travel during that period.

2. Physical submission by the applicant(s) for biometrics is mandatory; please ensure you make yourself available on request.
