Malaysia Visa Requirement

The following information and procedures apply for Malaysia Visiting/Tourist Visa processing:

Visa Requirement

  1. Filled visa application form electronically
  2. Copy of Biodata page of International Passport with a minimum of 6 months remaining validity
  3. Recent passport-sized photographs with a white background
  4. 3-Months bank statement with reference letter from the bank
  5. Hotel Reservation
  6. Flight Reservation
  7. Cover letter stating the purpose of visit
    1. Self-Introduction Letter
  8. Copies of previous visas & stamps - if any
  9. Invitation letter from host - if applicable
  10. Copy of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) Certificate - for first time
    traveler out of Africa
  11. For dependent: (a)
    1. Colored copy of dependent International Passport data page and
      valid visa page
    2. Copies of certificate of birth/marriage.
    3. Must get approval from the immigration before applying.
  12. Valid Yellow Fever Vaccine Card - required for travellers originating from or who have visited affected areas.

Note:

  1. Other supporting documents may be required if the need arises or based on evaluation.
