Morocco Tourist Visa

  1. INTERNATIONAL PASSPORT: A valid passport with 6 months validity from check out. 
  2. HOTEL RESERVATION: A confirmed hotel reservation for the purpose of the visa application is needed. (We will provide if required)
  3. FLIGHT RESERVATION: A flight reservation is mandatory for a Morocco visa application. The flight needs to show your arrival date and departure. (We will provide if required)
  4. TRAVEL INSURANCE: You need 3-months insurance to cover for your trip. Even if you intend to spend less than 3 months in Morocco, it is mandatory to get 3-months travel insurance. It must be Africa Basic or Worldwide and attach a photocopy. (We will provide)
  5. STATEMENT OF ACCOUNT: Your bank statement is mandatory for the visa application. You must submit a 6-months bank statement showing sufficient funds for the trip. And if you need to submit a corporate account, get a reference letter from the bank. Also, the bank statement must be signed and stamped by the bank.
    1. If sponsored by a company, the following information & document should be included in the bank's cover letter on the Company's bank statement. {New}
      1. The name of the signatory to the account (Class A) or classes required to take action on the account. 
      2. A copy of the international passport of the signatory should be attached when submitting the documents.
  6. SELF INTRODUCTION LETTER: A self-introduction letter with your address, work info and purpose of travel with travel dates stated.
  7. EMPLOYER INTRODUCTION LETTER: An introduction letter from your workplace is needed for a Morocco visa application. For a business owner, a letter on the company’s letterhead is essential. So the purpose of visit and length of stay will be stated.
  8. PASSPORT PHOTOGRAPHS: 2 white background passport photographs (4 X 3 cm) are to be submitted and eyes directly facing the camera. 
  9. PAYSLIP: Employees need to show evidence of salary slips for 6 months.
  10. MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE: In addition to the documents, a couple needs to present a copy of their marriage certificate and evidence of change of name for couples.
  11. BIRTH CERTIFICATE: Adults are required to provide birth certificates or affidavit of date of birth. {New}
  12. NATIONAL IDENTIFICATION NUMBER (NIN) SLIP: A copy of your NIN slip is required. {New}
Additional Documents For Morocco Visa include;
  • WORK I.D: A copy of an identity card is mandatory and must be included in the application. The ID card must show names as they appear on the International passport, title, and the company’s details.
  • STUDENT: Educational history in detail for students. If going for study, an official transcript and an acceptance letter from a Moroccan institution is required.
  • BUSINESS REGISTRATION DOCUMENT: For business owners, a copy of their business registration document is mandatory and taxes paid.
  • INVITATION: An invitation letter from a Moroccan company (for a Business visa only) is required if travelling for a business visit.
  • PERMIT: You need a valid residence permit if you are non-Nigerian and reside in the country.
  • APPLICATION FORM: You must completely fill out the visa application form with a black pen and sign it. It is advisable you fill them in BLOCK letters. 
Morocco COVID-19 Entry Requirement 

Passengers travelling to Morocco must present a vaccination pass and a negative PCR test result less than 48 hours old before boarding the plane.
It should be noted that all vaccine passes issued by other countries are accepted as long as they are valid in their country of emission.
Before boarding, passengers must present a health form, duly completed including the passengers' address and two telephone numbers to locate them during their stay.
Upon arrival at airports, they will be screened by rapid tests. Random PCR tests will also be conducted for several groups of travellers and results will be communicated at a later date.
Within 48 hours of entering the country, some travellers will be required to take an additional test at the hotel or residence centre.
If the tests are positive, other preventive measures will be implemented.

What measures are implemented in case of positive cases?
There are two types of positive cases: normal cases and difficult and critical cases. The people who are positive after their arrival with a normal diagnosis will have to observe solitary confinement in their place of residence with a careful follow-up. As for difficult cases, they will be taken care of in hospitals, public or private, according to the national protocol in the application.

What are the entry requirements to Morocco for children?
There are no entry requirements for children under 6 years of age. For children between 6 and 18 years old, the only requirement is a negative PCR test less than 48 hours old, in addition to a rapid antigen test on arrival.

What are the sanitary measures to be respected?
As part of the fight against the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic, Morocco ensures the application of health measures recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO) for the safety and health of everyone.
For the safety and the safety of others during your stay in Morocco, it is necessary to:
    1. Wash your hands regularly for 20 seconds with soap or a hydro-alcoholic solution.
    2. Cough or sneeze into your elbow or into a single-use handkerchief and dispose of it in a garbage can.
    3. Maintain a distance of 1.5m with your interlocutor.
    4. Avoid hand gestures, hugs and kisses and make sure the mask is worn.
    5. Take all precautions when going out.
Note:
To fill carefully, in Latin characters capital letters. The form can be filled in Arabic but the surname, first name, affiliations and Birthplace must be in Latin characters for technical reasons.
